The girl's volleyball club season runs from December through mid April for girls ages 9 to 18. There are 2 practices a week in the evenings and one tournament a month on Saturdays, January through April. Team tryouts occur in late November or early December. These are low cost, minimal cut tryouts with a purpose to determine skill level for tentative team placement. Team levels include 18s, 16s, 14s, 13s and 12 & under. AVA also sponsors several travel teams each year to large out of state national tournaments.
