The girl's comp volleyball club season runs from December through mid April for girls ages 9 to 18. There are generally 2 practices and/or club games a week in the evenings and one large tournament a month on Saturdays, January through April.
Team tryouts occur in late November or early December. These are low cost, minimal cut tryouts with a purpose to determine skill level for tentative team placement. Comp Team levels include 18s, 16s, 14s, and developemental teams are 13s and 12 & under. AVA also sponsors several travel teams each year to large out of state national tournaments.
